Welcome to the Danish Doll's House Festival in Farum

This year the Danish Doll's House Festival in Farum will be held for the 18th time. Approximately 60 exhibitors from several countries will participate.

The Festival will spread throughout the whole of Farum Kulturhus, in hallways and the foyer. In addition to this the Miniature Club "Mini" will present a joined project and Henry Ernst is looking forward to showing us his collection of Haute Couture models. Carsten V. Jensen will also show us his beautiful Challup "Christina".

It is incredible what is made in miniature and it covers several time periods. Skilled hobby people show what they can make. Out in the world miniatures are on the rise and it is wonderful to see so many foreign exhibitors make their way to Denmark. It is always exciting to see what they bring with them.

The foreign exhibitors try to mark their merchandise with danish prices, when they are at a Danish festival, but sometimes they do not have the time for this since they visit many festivals throughout Europe. Because of this, some prices will be in Euros.

Entrance ticket's fee is 50 dkr for adult and 25 dkr for children and a free program will be handed out by the entrance with a map of the exhibition.

There will be a tombola for the adult entrance tickets and because many of our exhibitors have sponsored nice prizes, there will be a drawing every hour within the opening hours of the festival. At the end of the day a drawing will be made for the main prizes where all tickets from the day will participate.

When the ticket is bought it is filled out with name and address and should be put in the two "small houses" which are at the entrance.

The festival is open Saturday the 30th of April from 11-17 and Sunday the 1st of May from 10-16.

Remember to bring cash since only few exhibitors accept credit card. There is also an ATM nearby at Farum Bytorv.

We hope our guests will have some inspiring and pleasurable hours while they visit the festival.
